Dr. Paul Wu is a thought leader and pioneer in design of Deep Learning systems. At Astra he is transforming Disperse Dynamic Networks into a Social Supercomputer using innovative Machine Learning algorithms. Dr. Wu’s postdoctoral training at Yale University focused on using integrative method of differential equations, statistical analysis and machine learning to identify biomarkers and pathways important to immunological responses.

Soham enjoys creating visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces to boost the mass adoption of complex technologies. At Astra he is designing the Web App and Mobile App, and integrating them with the Networking Stack and Blockchains. He has worked on software engineering projects with Space Systems Laboratory at the University of California, Berkeley.
Principal Blockchain Engineer
Eliot is a versatile software systems engineer with extensive experience in mathematical modeling, distributed protocol design, compiler construction, and virtualization. At Astra he is designing decentralized computing protocols to break cloud computing monopolies. Eliot earned double Bachelor’s in Mathematics and Computer Science and Masters in Mathematics from University of California, Santa Cruz.

Rama is an accomplished engineering executive and a thought leader in Cloud Computing. He has over 15 years’ experience in Search Technologies, Product Development, and Cloud Technologies such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud and OpenStack. At Astra he is designing a system to seamlessly launch and orchestrate parallel computing tasks on Astra – The Social Supercomputer.
Prof. Raj Jain is a pioneer in the Design and Architecture of Internet and Blockchain protocols. He made ground-breaking contributions in the design of Frame Relay, ATM, TCP/IP, and Traffic Management protocols in the early days of Internet. Currently, he is a Chaired Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri. Prof. Jain is guiding Astra team on the design of next generation Blockchain protocols to dramatically enhance the performance of Blockchain-based worldwide networks. Prof. Raj Jain received his PhD in Computer Science from Harvard University.
Dr. Jeff Flowers was a Founder of the Blockchain University in San Francisco in 2014. He is a leading thinker and practitioner in this emerging space. Dr. Jeff Flowers is also a Chemistry Professor and fully understands the vast computing resources required for building a library of molecular simulations. He is helping Astra design an innovative incentive system using Blockchain technology to motivate people. Dr. Flowers doctoral work, at San Francisco State University, focused on the use of neural networks and gamification protocols towards achieving highly optimized education pathways.
