The project is a platform for delivering reliable medical information to the right hands at the right time anywhere in the world. The team implements innovations in the healthcare industry through the mobile application Personal Health Record (PHR), Drug Facts and Clinical Trials with thousands of downloads and numerous users on its platform. The project uses new technologies, while maintaining a well-grounded in-depth understanding of the problems.
Emrify constantly looks for minuses in the healthcare industry to solve problems with the help of new technologies.
Risks and disadvantages
Among the minuses of this project I can call insufficient emphasis on maintaining the confidentiality of patient data, also the security of the system as a whole raises some questions. But for a decentralized system, security is the main factor that needs to be addressed, since the decentralized model has become a center for stakeholders in the entire healthcare sector.
This project is very interesting and is in great demand, especially in regions with poorly developed health care system or in hard-to-reach places. I think that the project will be successful in the long period and can gain mass recognition in many countries.
Emrify is a mobile application with thousands of users and hundreds of downloads every month. This application has good feedback from users.
Risks and disadvantages
20% of tokens will be preallocated to the team and founders, but this amount will be frozen, so I don`t think it`s a reason for concern.
This project has a clear goal: to create a database, which would be reliable, convenient, popular and also useful for researchers and profitable for owners of data. It also has a detailed plan of development of the product. But it doesn`t have a promoting strategy, which is a very important component.
Demo version is available and I think this app is really convenient. It is a reliable way of data storage. Strong technical specialists are involved in the project.
Risks and disadvantages
Only the core team is introduced to investors. We know nothing about marketing specialists. And I don't know if 10% of budget for marketing is enough.
Market size is huge and this project has potential for growth. I don't know if the team will be able to unlock this potential, but the app would be useful for many people.
Why is the Growth Pool important?
HIT represents Health asset that anyone can earn by contributing their Personal Health Information. Just as you earn Bitcoin by CPU mining, you can earn HITs by health data mining. The success of mining requires a vibrant marketplace of buyers and sellers. The Network Effect is crucial to spark a self-sustaining ecosystem. The Growth Pool is used to incentivize parties of Data Donors (sellers) and Health Services Recipients (buyer) to adopt the platform. The Growth Pool is also an effective mechanism to deter trading abuse and stabilize exchange rate of HITs to maintain Health Miners traction.
How close are you to Production?
With knowledge and experience from the Desktop beta, we are extremely close to a functional release to show the Utility of HIT. We aim to have a Mobile Alpha release by the end of this year to begin Pilots early 2019.
Why do you choose the public Ethereum blockchain?
We are aware of multiple blockchains that are growing. However, none comes close to Bitcoin and Ethereum in terms of size and community of developers. With Health, we wanted to use the highest level of decentralization to foster Trust globally. We deeply believe in the Ethereum Foundation to solve any remaining challenges towards complete usability at scale without sacrificing vital tradeoffs.
What are your primary competitive advantages?
First, we have a team of highly technical people to execute blockchain solutions from both the US and India, which currently has the most developer blockchain talent. Second, we are specifically focused on Patient Engagement to collect and aggregate Personal Health Information with years of experience in building consumer products. For example, we are one of the first health company who has launched an Alexa Skill and Google Home Action. Third, we have won major awards in blockchain including the upcoming Pitch in Dubai. Fourth, we are located in Nashville, TN, a major US healthcare hub with laws to legally accept blockchain transactions, with strategic working groups to experiment with blockchain pilots for healthcare.
Do you have real users now?
Yes, there's about 15k+ active users for PillSync and about 1k+ users for the Personal Health Record app. This is on top of thousands of downloads for the Drug Barcode Scanner and Clinical Trials search app.
Health is hard. Where do you start?
By beginning with the Person, we can start locking up data right now. We plan to begin existing users migration as early as 2019. With HIT as incentives, lots of Health Miners will be excited to join from day one. With a strong base, we will launch Health ID solutions that would solve Patient Identification once and for all. For example, a city like Dubai with thousands of international visitors each year could really benefit from a decentralized ID method for Emergency care.
Do you plan to open source your code with full audit?
Absolutely. We take security very seriously and will be spending sizable amount of funds to ensure that all Smart Contract are audited. Since we will open source the codes, we plan to have a large bug bounty program for the community. We aim to be as transparent as possible for true decentralization.
How can I help?
Joining our Telegram group is the best way to be in the loop. We also have a Bounty Program if you'd like to help spread our story to others. Help us by educating the community as we all push towards a better healthcare using blockchain.
When is the Tokensale?
Monday, May 7, 2018 after returning from Dubai Blockchain Challenge. Exact time TBA.
When will Whitelist Open?
Early Registration to Whitelist is Open Now!
What is your Soft Cap?
Soft Cap is $1,000,000
What is your Hard Cap?
Hard Cap is $10,000,000
What currencies do you accept?
We accept Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) only. Since we are building on top of Ethereum, we will hold in ETH to pay Gas on the network. BTC will be converted to ETH after the sale. We are not accepting Fiat because we want our token holders to have experience with cryptocurrency.
What wallet do I need?
Absolutely no Exchange Wallets! Any wallet like MyEtherWallet, Trezor, Ledger, etc. to store ERC20 tokens.
What exchanges will HIT be listed?
HIT is a Utility Token with high demand. We expect that at least several exchanges will immediately want to list HITs. We are also researching decentralized exchange like 0x relayers to increase fungibility and liquidity.
Are US Citizens and Residents allowed to participate in the public sale?
Unfortunately, non-accredited US buyers are not allowed. Must be accredited US investors to participate. However, anyone in the US can earn HITs by contributing health data.
Will there be a private presale?
Yes. We allow accredited and institutional investors to have some time to participate with a min purchase of $25k or higher. In particular, we encourage Health Stakeholders to stock up on HITs early to exchange for Personal Health data when the platform go live.
What is your Pre-Sale Hard Cap?
Pre-Sale will be Capped at $5,000,000
Do you require KYC?
Absolutely. All buyers will need to submit KYC including ID verification. Registration is Open now to allow time to whitelist. KYC ensures the sale is fair / legal while keeping the big whales out.
What happens to the remaining tokens if hard cap is not reached?
We are looking into a HODL rewards structure to incentivize holding the tokens while the platform is being built. The HODL pool will match up to $5 million depending on total sales. Any remaining tokens after accounting for Airdrops and Bounties will be added to the Growth Pool to be used as incentives to catalyze network effect.
When will HITs show up in my wallet?
Tokens will be distributed about 2 weeks after Sale End Date, which is currently set for June 5, 2018.
