The project is an ICO platform for investors and the best ICO projects built on Blockchain technology. The platform establishes a sustainable ecosystem for international investors and projects for the initial coin offers. The company wants to make ICO and sales of cryptocurrency safe, smart and effective. Both sides, investors and ICO projects benefit from KYC / AML and from complex processes of acquaintance with investors. The HELIX Orange platform defines the legal and regulatory requirements of the country of residence of investors and determines the amount that an investor can participate in this HELIX’s ICO
Risks and disadvantages
There are minuses in the project, as the fact, that the mechanism for which the team will determine the best projects is not quite clear. There is no explanation in the description of the criteria for selecting projects and who is responsible for the wrong choice of a particular startup. In addition, this segment employs many companies, and some of them are quite successful.
I do not think that this project will be able to gain many clients, primarily because of the high competition in this segment of the business, and in addition the project does not provide any explanation how the best startups will be selected. Investments in this project are unlikely to pay off in the short time.
The project has all 3 major components: experienced team, advisors and partners. Team members are public people, as they actively take part in different conferences related to Blockchain and explain about the audience about Helix-orange. The platform has many social networks, where people can get information about the project ( Steemit, Facebook, Medium, Reddit, Telegram, Bitcointak, Twitter). There are also discounts for people, who invests at the early stage of crowdsale. It is regarded as motivation for investors.
Risks and disadvantages
It is difficult to understand the functionality of the platform without MVP. Thus, Whitepaper does not explain how the project will operate.
The idea is not new. There are similar projects on the market, which already have a working product. KICKICO is on of the examples. In addition, the following platform has been widely outlined on different media resources. Among them there are some authoritative newspapers, like Forbes.
Helix AG was a winner of competition with other 3000 blockchain start-ups in 2017. All the platform's services will be payable in HIX tokens, which will facilitate the growth of the demand for tokens. Using the service investor will not necessarily need to disclose the identity to the start-up, which may be useful in some cases.
Risks and disadvantages
The Whitepaper doesn't provide the analysis of a target audience, so it is difficult to predict the demand for this product.
Helix Orange promises to increase legal certainty for ICO-projects and investors by providing KYC-service combined with regulatory requirements of investor's country. I think the team could develop some additional services along with KYC-service in order to attract more partners and users.
There are many publications in press, which will help to attract attention to the startup. The project has advisers and partners. Using this service investors will only need to pass through KYC process once, and then they will be able to use their identity whenever they need.
Risks and disadvantages
Investors who buy tokens at a discount 50% will be able to influence token's value, which is a cause for serious concern in the eyes of other potential investors.
I think the team should present their vision in the video presentation or on social media accounts for the investors to see that this is an area where a reliable solution is desired now.
