Why would anyone want to use TillBilly?

In short, TillBilly incentivises both Shoppers and Merchants with a rewarding payments, convenient digital receipts, automatic loyalty points and relevant promotions platform. Please check out benefits for Shoppers and Merchants for more information

Why Stellar, and not ERC20?

The slow speed and high transaction fees of Ethereum makes it impractical for use in a real-world payment application.Stellar blockchain platform provides TillBilly a fast (~2K TPS), scalable and low transaction fee infrastructure.

There are so many companies in the “blockchain in retail” space, what makes you special?

We acknowledge that there are many businesses in the retail space, but let’s look at the key differences

The companies working on providing a POS solution to the merchants are going with a highly optimistic assumption that “everyone wants to buy their coffee, or milk with Bitcoin”. While this may be become true in years to come, right now we can confidently say that less than 0.001% of the world wants to use Bitcoin or Ethereum as a “currency” to buy goods due to the high volatility and transaction processing fee.

To address this problem, we provide everyday shoppers and merchants with “assured value” payments, where shoppers and merchants can benefit from the blockchain without the complexities and volatility using TillBilly crypto-credits TillBilly Crypto Credits are a closed loop cryptocurrency that provides shoppers a 1:1 assured value w.r.t fiat, and provides merchants assured settlement in Fiat.

I only invest in Blockchain Protocol / Infrastructure ICO - You are a DAPP.

Let me guess: Some "self proclaimed" ICO experts told you that Blockchain Infrastructure Platforms are the only safe bets?

Think about this:

How many Operating Systems does the world need? Just like Windows, Macintosh, iOS and Android, there will only be a handful of blockchain infrastructure that will see mass adoption in the coming months/years. Now consider how many apps are on your phone or laptop that are multi-million, or even billion dollar businesses?

First was Bitcoin, then Ethereum, and now 1800+ other utility tokens - each claiming to be a protocol or a platform. TillBilly is Blockchain 4.0 - a real world application for fast and cost-efficient payments, designed for both:Crypto Savvy Users who want to pay in cryptocurrency, as well as everyday shoppers and merchants who do not understand or distrust cryptocurrencies.
